Muslims
Vs. Daesh

AS LONG AS DAESH (A/K/A ISIS, ISIL) WAS KILLING JEWS, Muslims around the world were silent. No matter that the attacks took place in Israel or someplace in Europe, or even in North America, the Muslim world was, at best, silent or, at worst, applauded as it did when Muslims piloted commercial airliners into the two Trade Center buildings and the Pentagon.

Now, however, non-Jews are being targeted along with Jews, and the world is starting to see the Islamist threat is not just against the Jews and Israel.

PERHAPS, and admittedly is is just speculation, the Muslim leadership is starting to realize that by indiscriminately targeting all "infidels" those "infidels" will start taking indiscriminate revenge on all Muslims.

TO BE FAIR I know that not EVERY Muslim is a terrorist, and I know that not every terrorist is a Muslim. Every country - and the United States is no exception - has its own homegrown crazies.

But until recently, any Muslim voices raised against Daesh have been like whispers in a hurricane.

Now, for whatever reason - the threat of backlash, the reality that the Arab world - and maybe the Muslim world as well - has had enough, is causing Muslims to speak out, boldly and loudly, against Daesh.

Imam Tareq Yousef Al-Masri speaks out against Islamist violence and tells his congregants that the reason Muslims are hated is because they hate. (A YouTube video worth watching>)

Unfortunately, there are other imans, in particular Imam Anjem Choudary of London.

In a AFP release headed Muslim Scholars Call to 'Kill and Crucify' ISIS Terrorists, Al-Azhar, Sunni Islam's most prestigious center of learning, has called for the killing and crucifixion of terrorists from the Islamic State group (ISIS), expressing outrage over their murder of a Jordanian pilot.

In a statement after the burning alive of Maaz al-Kassasbeh, the Cairo-based authority called for the "killing, crucifixion and chopping of the limbs of Islamic State terrorists".

The statement comes a month after Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi delivered a highly unusual and surprising speech to Islamic clerics at Al-Azhar University last week, in which he called on Muslim leaders to reform Islam to rid the Muslim world of terrorism.

Meanwhile, Jordan Executes Jihadist Prisoners in Response to ISIS murdering - by burning to death - a Jordanian pilot.

Jordan executed two jihadist prisoners at dawn on Wednesday, after vowing a harsh response to the Islamic State (ISIS) group's murder of a Jordanian pilot.

Would-be Iraqi female suicide bomber Sajida al-Rishawi and Iraqi Al-Qaeda member Ziad al-Karboli were executed at 4:00 a.m. local time, government spokesman Mohammad al-Momani said.

"The death sentence will be carried out on a group of jihadists, starting with Rishawi, as well as Iraqi Al-Qaeda operative Ziad Karbuli and others who attacked Jordan's interests," a Jordanian official, speaking on condition of anonymity, had told AFP.

IT IS INTERESTING to note that, as this is keyed, there are NO protests from the left-wing UN or Arab liberals, and absolute silence from Abu Mazen, all of whom would be gnashing teeth and ranting had Israel done what Jordan did.

King Abdullah II ibn al-Hussei described ISIS as a “cowardly” organization, and added that its killing of al-Kassasbeh will only strengthen Jordanians.

“We have received with all sorrow, grief and anger, the news of the martyrdom of the brave pilot Maaz al-Kassasbeh, may Allah bless his soul, at the hand of the terrorist and cowardly Daesh organization, this criminal, stray gang that has nothing to do with our true religion,” the King said in a statement quoted by the Jordan Times and in which he used an Arabic acronym for ISIS.

“At this difficult time, it is the duty of all citizens to unify their ranks and show the true character of the Jordanian people when they face hardships and plights, which will only strengthen us and reinforce our unity,” added Abdullah.

Next door, Egyptian President Al-Sisi Delivers Speech That May Change the World Forever and called to combat extremist ideology and said: “We need to revolutionize our religion.” Calling for “religious discourse that is in keeping with its times,” Al-Sisi warned that “the Islamic nation is being torn apart and destroyed” by extremism.

It might well be noted that Al-Sisi is waging an internal war with Islamists who want to remove him and restore one of their own (Mohamed Morsi). It also is worth noting that while the world castigates Israel for tightly controlling its border with Gaza, Egypt has (a) hermetically sealed its border with Gaza, (b) destroyed the smuggling tunnels from Egypt into Gaza, and (c) created a 500 meter wide by 13 km long structure-free zone according to Aljazeera. (The liberal UK Telegraph put the Egyptian move in a different light, leeding with The Egyptian authorities are demolishing hundreds of houses along its impoverished border with the Gaza Strip to create a buffer zone that will slow the flow of weapons and militants between the two territories.

Army officials told residents in the eastern Rafah area to evacuate their homes on Tuesday. They later confirmed that they planned to empty more than 800 houses – home to about 10,000 people.

Again, the UN and its friends remain silent. When Israel prevents unrestricted flow of people and goods to and from Gaza, the nation is condemned. When Egypt closes its border - not a sound.

It seems the only Muslims that stand solidly with Deash are Iranians and "Palestinians"; other Muslims are starting to distance themselves from a group that no longer limits its hatred to Israel and, to a lesser extent, the U.S.

Perhaps reality is starting to set in for the Islamic world. Perhaps.

Islamist* dance

According to a report in the Global Security Newswire headed Assad Sets Conditions on Relinquishing Chemical Arms, the Syrian president said his nation would give up its chemical arms “only if the United States ends any weapons deliveries to opposition forces and ceases its ‘threatening’ behavior.

Put conditions on everything and do nothing.

Sounds like Bashar Al Assad’s buddy in Iran, Ruhollah Mostafavi Musavi Khomeini, a/k/a Grand Ayatollah and his nuclear games.

And then there is the terrorist Abu Mazen of the so called Palestinian Authority who demands that Israel make concessions and, when the Israeli prime minister du jour caves under US and leftist pressure, the terrorist adds more demands.

It’s the Islamist dance.

    * Iranians are quick to tell us they are not Arabs; Muslims yes, Arabs no, hence “Islamist.”

What is particularly interesting about Assad’s two-step is that while he is pressing for to halt the weapons flow to the insurgents, he will continue to receive weapons from his allies – Iran and Russia. These weapons can be used against both the locals and Israel.

What I fail to understand is what he calls Obungler’s “threatening’ behavior.” The incumbent at 1600 Pennsylvania has emasculated the country and truly made it what the Chinese called it decades ago: a paper tiger of no consequence.

On the other hand, most Israelis – except perhaps Obungler’s alter ego in the prime minister’s office, and the left wing – now understand that they cannot depend on the United States for anything, certainly not as long as the White House and State Department are Islamist sympathizers.

Obungler managed to put his foot in his mouth and embarrassed the United States by making threats he won’t carry out.

Then he comes crawling to the Congress in hopes it will share the blame for his stupidity.

“Well,” he tells the world, “I can’t do anything until Congress gets back from its latest vacation.”

Meanwhile, one on-line poll shows that at least 91 percent of all respondents do NOT think the U.S. should attack Syria.

Is Syria a threat to the U.S.? Not hardly. Certainly it can be a jumping off point for Islamist terrorists, but the U.S. has its own homegrown Islamist terrorists (or is Islamist and terrorist redundant?).

Does Syria have anything the U.S. wants? No.

“Well,” we are told by Obungler & Friends, “the U.S. must act for humanitarian reasons.”

OK. So …

  1. Why wait until now? Syria’s civil war is more than 2 years old.
  2. Why didn’t Obungler threaten Sudan (see UN Human Rights Council and Darfurian Voices
  3. Why doesn’t Obungler press for a Kurdish state? Kurds are victims in Syria, Turkey, and elsewhere.
  4. Why doesn’t Obungler point the finger at the Muslims in Aza or in Lebanon/Syria who randomly fire rockets at Israeli civilians and Hamas in Aza who murder Egyptian policemen at their posts.
  5. What about North Korea? In September 2011, the Harvard International Review published an article which argued that North Korea was violating the UN Genocide Convention in every possible way, through its systematic killing of half-Chinese babies and religious groups.[
  6. And Somalia. The Social Science Research Council (2007) reported genocidal killings committed against Somalia's Bantu population and Jubba Valley dwellers from 1991 onwards noting that "Somalia is a rare case in which genocidal acts were carried out by militias in the utter absence of a governing state structure

Why is it that chemical weapons are bad, but bullets, bombs, missiles, and other killing devices are OK?

Never mind that Obungler allowed the attack on the U.S. consulate in Libya go unpunished. Shades of Jimmy (Peanut Brain) Carter.

While North Korea is not an Islamist state, it uses the Islamist delaying tactic to keep the U.S. at bay while the North threatens the South.

I am reminded of the Arpege perfume commercial: Promise her anything, but give her Arpege. Promise the U.S. anything, and like an ingénue, the U.S. will believe and will coninue to believe the promises even after they are broken time and time again.

Obungler has done somethiing right – by accident. So far he has only used his hot air against Syria. At the same time, he has made the U.S. a laughing stocvk among nations that understand only force, a heavy hand.

The Arabs and Persians and Koreans all respect only a heavy hand. Unfortunately, the day when Teddy Roosevelt could “speak softly and carry a big stick” (with the so-called “Great White Fleet”) are long gone.

America’s political fall from power didn’t start with Obungler – it goes back to charmin’ Jack and his “youth in Asia” plan (incorrectly applied to LBJ) – but the current president certainly has exasperated matters.

Turns out there is a post script to this. Since the above was cobbled together he other day, Assad has added more conditions, including that Israel must join in renouncing use of chemical weapons and allow unbiased (that's a joke) UN inspectors to review whatever chemical weapons Israel might possess. Meanwhile, Assad's stockpile gets moved around - likely to Iran.

Follow Muslims’ lead

The “world,” particularly the left-wing, liberal “world” is in love with Islam.

Never mind that Islamists are cutting off heads of British soldiers IN LONDON!

Never mind that Islamists are implementing Shiria (law) in so-called “Christian” countries.

Never mind that the Palestinian Administration promises to make its areas “Jew free.”

Never mind that a non-Muslim cannot enter Mecca or Medina or other Islamic holy places.

Never mind that civil rights the lefties take for granted in the EU are unknown in most Muslim countries.

The left, liberal world loves Islamists.

That’s fairly obvious since I, for one, never hear anyone criticize Saudia for its treatment of women. I don’t hear any voices calling for Arab troops to step in and stop the murder in Syria. I don’t hear any one calling for the Arab League to protect the Muslims – never mind the Christians – in Lebanon from the Syrian spill-over.

I hear no condemnation of Hamas or Hezbollah for attacks on fellow Muslims.

Where are the cries of horror when Sunnis and Shiites slaughter each other?

Since the left gives tacit approval of all of the above, Israel should take note and do likewise.

All non-Jews are eligible for immediate deportation. Muslims who claim to be “Palestinian” will be deported to Jordan, provided there are no criminal charges against them. If there are, the criminals will be punished according to Shiria law; after all, that’s the law the Islamists want to implement wherever they gain control.

Only Jews will be allowed in Jerusalem, just as only Muslims are allowed into Mecca and Medina.

Christian and Muslim holy books will be confiscated and, after a certain date in the near future, anyone caught with such writings will be jailed and then expelled. When the rules change in Saudia, the rules can change back in Jerusalem.

The bleeding heart liberals can’t complain about how Israel treats non-citizens (for only Jews can be citizens of Israel) since they don’t complain about non-citizen treatment in Muslim-dominated areas.

Let Israel behave as its neighbors and dare the liberals to complain.

After all, fair is fair.

Right?

If you are a liberal, Israel basher, perhaps not.
